E-mail aliasing

E-mail aliasing allows your company to have E-mail addresses linked to your own domain. Your address might be "sales@insertyourdomainhere.com" and not an extension of your local access providers name. The server forwards your incoming mail to your E-mail account with your local access provider or an existing POP account on your True Server. With unlimited E-mail aliasing, you can have an E-mail address for customer support, an E-mail address for service, a set of E-mail addresses for your marketing department, and even an E-mail address for your Mother, all at no extra cost! The aliasing will forward the mail received for these addresses to any E-mail account on the server or remote accounts you already have established with your local access provider.

FTP Service

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a tool that allows users to download files made available to them on other's computer systems. With your Virtual Anonymous FTP Service you can allow your customers to download files that will give them more information about your company. For example, a customer could download a catalog of your products or a price list of your services. This allows your customers to have instant access to your information and also saves you on printing and mailing costs! Your Virtual Anonymous FTP Service will also allow you to have a simple FTP address such as "ftp.insertyourdomainhere.com" that will appear to your customers as if you have your own dedicated server. Customers can also log on anonymously and upload files to your server.

mSQL

mSQL or mini-SQL is a database engine designed to provide fast access to stored information. It uses a subset of ANSI SQL (Structured Query Language) as its interface. The w3-msql interface allows access to mSQL databases from an HTML document. Basically, SQL clauses are embedded within HTML comment tags <! msql command > and this enhanced HTML is passed to the w3-msql CGI program. This program acts as a filter, which interprets the mSQL-enhanced tags and in turn passes them to the database engine on your True Server. The database engine generates a set of results and these are returned as rows of data, which are then embedded 'on the fly' into your HTML. As you can see, mSQL is a very powerful tool.

Post Office Protocol

Post Office Protocol, or POP, allows your company to establish an Internet mail system at a very low cost. With your Virtual POP Service you can establish as many E-mail accounts for your business as you choose. Unlike E-mail aliasing or forwarding, your mail is stored on your Virtual Server. You can then configure your mail program (Eudora, Pegasus, etc.) to dial in through your local access provider and read your mail on your server.

Secure Socket Layer

We offer secure socket layer (SSL). This allows a compatible browser to communicate with your virtual server in a secure SSL encrypted session. It is often used to securely transfer credit card numbers and other sensitive information. SSL uses a digital certificate or ID to prove its authenticity. This digital certificate established a legal relationship between a legitimate company and their web site. For example, by going to Microsoft’s web page and decrypting their digital certificate, it legally proves that this web site is authorized by Microsoft (or whoever's name is actually in the digital certificate). To use this service, you will need to purchase a digital ID from Verisign (www.verisign.com) or Thawte (www.thawte.com). The cost for the digital ID is $125-$1295 for the first year and $100-$1295 for each year thereafter.  We charge $60 per certificate generation - typically you will need a certificate generate once per year or anytime your company information changes.. In order to avoid potential problems it is best to coordinate ordering ID’s with us. Send mail to service@TrueServer.com to receive detailed information on how to start the processing of your certificate. Processing takes about 7-21 days.

Virtual domain hosting

Virtual Domain hosting allows multiple domains to be set up on the same virtual server. All domains on the same server share an IP Address but each has an independent FrontPage, email, ftp and web server all resolving to a separate domain name. A reseller pays only the monthly fee for the server. The hosted domains incur only a one-time set up fee.
